Steve Lawrence

Steve Lawrence is the principal of Corporate Health and Fitness and has over 20 years in the health and fitness industry.  During this time he has helped many clients, personal and corporate achieve their goals.  Steve’s experience ensures that his programs are tailored, efficient and effective for clients – delivering the best results.   There is no one solution – every program is custom designed and delivered.


Steve comes with an academic background that is directly related to this business, having attained a Bachelor of Sport Science degree at the University of New South Wales.  Personal and professional development are key in any industry and Steve has continued to acquire skills and knowledge that further enhance his standing in this industry, completing Pilate’s Method Accreditation at the University of Technology  Sydney.


Many of Steve’s clients are referral based - medical practitioners who are interested in having a professional person design appropriate exercise programs for rehabilitation purposes.  Pilate’s programs are one of the methods used for corrective physical rehabilitation.  This method focuses on increasing core strength of the body and increasing flexibility.  This specialised field has opened new horizons for people with back injuries and injury rehabilitation in general, particularly when other more conventional methods have failed.


Corporate Health and Fitness are currently working with the Independent Rehabilitation Centre assisting in getting people back to normal routines as soon as possible after being injured.


Steve has also been practicing Chinese Kung Fu.  He had previously studied under Da shi Gary Martin, one of Australia’s most prestigious instructors and has attained the rank of 3rd degree black belt in the three arts of Tai Chi, Hsing-I and Pa Qua. The school is an internal Kung Fu, which is unique in martial art school in Australia.


Martial Arts training has enabled the acquiring of specific mind and body skills such as meditating which can facilitate energy into a positive outlook on life.  These skills are effective for both personal and professional goal setting and motivation in achieving goals.


A whole mind and body approach has helped clients reach their personal and health related goals.  All programs are custom designed to suit the individual – nutrition, muscle flexibility, cardio workouts, stress relief and strength.  This whole approach delivers the best possible results for a healthier and stronger you!

• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist NSCA

• Certificate 4 Master Trainer/ Fitness Instructor

• Ex level 1 sports trainer

• Qualified Swedish Masseuse

• 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kung Fu

• Senior First Aid
